We live in a world that’s constantly being damaged. Our environment takes a battering every day by almost everyone on earth. We need to think of ways to prevent this, and care for our ecosystem. I’ve got three ideas, and they’re listed below:

#1 Teach Children How To Care For The Environment

For me, helping the environment has to be taught to children from a young age. They need to get it ingrained in their brains that the environment must be cared for. If you teach a young child some life lessons early on, they’ll remember it for the rest of their life.

Think about it; you teach them about many things when they’re young. They learn about manners, and the difference between right and wrong, etc. No matter how old a person gets, they always remember these things. So, it should be every parent and teacher’s mission to tell them about the environment. Get them doing eco-friendly things, and they’ll become used to it.

Soon, being eco-friendly will be second nature to them. As a result, we have a planet full of children that know how to care for the environment.

#2 Get Countries To Invest In Renewable Energy

A key thing we can do is get countries to invest in renewable energy. Now, we already know that certain countries are doing this. European nations like Germany and Sweden are investing a lot of time and effort into this. As a result, they have a more eco-friendly culture and make fewer carbon emissions. So, I believe other countries in the world need to do the same.

I’m talking about countries that have serious air pollution problems. They need to shape up and have a serious look at themselves. Some are already doing this, for example, Mexico. Mexico City is one of the most polluted cities in North America. And, Mexico’s Renewable Energy Conference was held for the first time this year. Conferences like this are used to give renewable energy businesses a chance to gain funding and investment.

If we can get all the countries in the world to invest in different energy sources, we’ll slowly see a decline in carbon emissions.

#3 Persuade Everyone To Walk More

This next idea is probably the hardest one to turn into a reality. Persuading everyone to walk more is a good idea, and will have clear results. The more you walk, the less you drive/use public transport. As a result, fewer carbon emissions are being spouted into the air. The difficult part is persuading people to walk. It’s not going to be easy to do, but there are some ideas in my head.

I think businesses can try to implement a reward system for people that walk/cycle to work. Perhaps you earn points that can be translated into rewards of some kind. It gives millions of working people an incentive to look at different ways of getting around. Sure, it’s not a perfect idea, but it’s a start.

If you think these ideas are good, then don’t be afraid to let me know. Of course, there are many other ideas out there too. These are just my top three picks for you to enjoy.
